December 2004. These essays written in 2002 represent  a continuing movement along a trajectory of interpretation that needs more scholarship than it can get in one lifetime. I have continued to study this letter, and now embark on an analysis of the central spine of questions though which Paul engages himself and us.

1. The Purpose of the Letter to the Romans

2. The Obedience of Faith

3. Law and Sin

4. Flesh and Spirit

5. Individuals in the Epistles (Chapter 16)

6. Jew and Gentile

7. The Teaching of Paul, Jesus, and the Scriptures

8. The Weak and the Strong – Putting Love into Practice
